  • What are your Covid-19 guidelines?
    As we continue to support our community, we’re also taking all the necessary steps to protect our customers and team members. We are educating team members with regular communications about COVID-19 and the importance of keeping their workplace clean, washing hands frequently, and to seek proper medical attention if they develop flu-like symptoms. To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 the carts are sanitized before and after each tour. Guests are encouraged to wear masks and reschedule if they feel ill. To continue providing our customers with the best possible service during this time. Out of crisis comes strength. In times of need, Arch Carts steps up to support locally owned and operated small business. Since the outbreak of coronavirus, we have Stayed Home, Stayed Safe, Stayed Connected. By booking a Tour or Service with Arch carts, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Safety precautions Arch Carts drivers will have their temperature taken daily. What precautions is Arch Carts taking to protect team members and customers? We are reinforcing team member education through regular communications and reminders on good hygiene practices and keeping the workplace clean. Arch Carts operations and drivers are working diligently, and we continue to gather feedback from team members about additional needs. Our ongoing efforts include: Implemented new procedures to reduce the exposure risk for guides and guests of its private tours. Using non-contact methods of greeting Frequently washing hands with soap and water for a minute of 20 seconds Guests have the option of wearing their own mask, bandanna or buff, and guides have extra masks and sanitizer handy if the need arises. Guides abide by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for social distancing but wear masks in scenarios that require them to be closer to guests, Disinfecting vehicles surfaces like seats, and handrails, before each use. Implementing temperature checking of team members daily. Remind all to avoid touching their eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands. Urging all to cover coughs and sneezes.   • How should I dress?
    As always, guests should dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather.
  • Do open air vehicles work for the City and Hotels?
    No! The open air vehicles do not work for the City or Hotels. The very few open air vehicles companies and many individual owners lease out their carts. Arch Carts is locally owned and operated. We are also the only open air vehicles company that is an approved member of Experience Missouri Visitor Bureau and approved vendor of the City of St. Louis. Arch Carts drivers are professional, prompt, knowledgeable, trained, background checked and drug policy compliant.
  • Do all open air vehicles follow State, City and Insurance regulations?
    Arch Carts is able to provide documentation if needed. The City of St. Louis, Missouri Department of Transportation and Missouri Department of Public Safety all have rules regarding how open air vehicles are operated. However, it is the responsibility of the individual owner or company owners to be educated their drivers regarding regulations.
  • How many can an open air vehicles seat?/Is there a weight and space limitation?
    Arch Carts open air vehicles seat up to 5 guests comfortably with seatbelts. Open air vehicles feature seats which may not accommodate all guests body dimensions. You know your physical conditions and limitations. If you suspect this experience could aggravate any pre-existing conditions or cause discomfort, please consult an associate before riding.
  • Are children under the age of 5 years old allowed on the open air vehicles?
    YES, CAR SEAT MUST BE PROVIDED BY GUEST. Missouri state law prohibits children under the age of 5 years old on open air vehicles without an approved car seat.
  • How can I be reassured that the open air vehicles is properly insured and safe?
    Arch Carts open air vehicles carry and can provide current documentation. Arch Carts is the only company that is locally owned and operated. We are also the only open air vehicles company that is an approved member of the St. Louis Taxi Committee and approved vendor of the City of St. Louis. Arch Carts drivers are professional, prompt, knowledgeable, trained, background checked and drug policy compliant.
  • Do all open air vehicles Owners have a background driver check Policy?
    Arch Carts drivers have driver background checks, drivers must be approved by the insurance company in ordered to be added to the insurance. Arch Carts drivers are trained, drug policy compliant and can provide documentation. However, it is the responsibility of the individual/company owners and drivers are compliant.
  • Cancellations, Changes and No-Show Policy
    As we are a small business tour company, reservations may be cancelled or changed up to 15 days prior to the arrival date. Cancellation prior to 15 days will be credited at 50% of individual booking. No-Show bookings are non-refundable. Any cancellation or change request made within the 15 day arrival time frame is non-refundable, so make sure your plans are firm before you book. We are happy to help you reschedule based on availability. In the rare case of a tour cancellation due to in climate weather we will offer space on an alternate date and time. In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to move your tour time up to 3 hours in either direction. If you have issues with your scheduled tour time, reach out in the "Contact" sections of the site and we will be happy to assist you.
  • Can I cancel my ride/tour?
    Unfortunately, Arch Carts in unable to offer cancellation, but are happy to reschedule based on availability.
  • Are reservations required?
    Yes, especially on type of tour and day of the week. Space is limited, some restrictions may apply.
  • When is payment required?
    Payment required upon booking.
  • How far in advance is booking required for large groups?
    All request should be submitted a minimum of three (3) business days before your special event date and fourteen (14) business days in advance during holiday weekends.
  • Are pick up and drop off time scheduled?
    Yes, a set time frame will be established at the time of booking. Any deviation from that time may result in penalties such as but not limited to reduction in event schedule.
  • Do open air vehicles operate on tips?
    Rates differ based on vehicles company and individual owners, distance of ride and possible wait time. It’s important to have that discussion with the driver before taking a ride.
